My professional life has unfolded through a long engagement with questions of identity, meaning, and the ways everyday occupations give texture to human life.

Across years of teaching, scholarship, and service, I have remained drawn to a simple but enduring question: How do people come to experience their lives as coherent, purposeful, and whole? The work presented here reflects that continuing search—formed by study, shaped by experience, and still open to what remains to be understood about the interconnected nature of narrative, identity, purpose, and meaning.
